Loft Conversions

We are able to convert all types of roofs into loft conversions.

The most common types include:

Velux Conversions

This is the most cost effective way to increase living space, converting the existing roof space with the addition of Velux rooflights. The Velux rooflights come in a variety of sizes and colours and give no projection from the roof therefore not changing the original shape or appearance significantly.

The addition of a flat or pitched dormer will create extra headroom and floor space in your loft conversion. The dormer will offer projection from the front, rear or side of your roof.

Hip to Gable Conversion

This involves altering the structure of the existing hipped roof and forming a new gable end. This type of conversion occurs frequently on semi-detached properties allowing the new stairs to run above the existing stairs. Generally a hip to gable conversion will include the addition of a dormer, maximising headroom and floor space within your loft conversion.

The roof space of most bungalows offers excellent loft conversion potential with minimal disruption to the existing layout. Most bungalow loft conversions would require the addition of either Velux rooflights or dormer extensions.

At Aldridge Loft Conversions Ltd we project manage your conversion from inception to completion.

We take the hassle out of sourcing and hiring individual trades by using our own team of trusted and experienced tradesmen.
